The Real Property Evaluation and Disposal Committee (CEDBI) is the entity responsible for evaluating and disposing of surplus real property owned by the Executive Branch of Government of Puerto Rico, including public school facilities no longer in use, in accordance with Act No. 26-2017 and applicable regulations.
CEDBI implements structured, transparent, and accountable processes for the disposition of public assets, including leases, sales, requests for proposals, and sealed bid auctions, ensuring alignment with public policy, fiscal responsibility, and the public interest.
Through interagency coordination and standardized procedures, CEDBI facilitates the orderly reuse of government-owned properties, supports economic development and municipal initiatives, and promotes the effective management of public assets to maximize their value and prevent deterioration.
